Impeccable: Not capable of sin, not liable to sin,
1 John 5:18 [AMPC]
We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God carefully watches over and protects him [Christ’s divine presence within him preserves him against the evil] and the wicked one does not lay hold (get a grip on him or touch [him].
Father, I thank you that I was not born of the flesh according to the will of man, but by your Spirit. I thank you that I am born again and the wicked one touches me not. Thank you Lord for bringing me to this place where the enemy is denied access to my life. I decree and declare that I cannot be defiled by him in my spirit, soul or body by any means. I thank you that my life is hidden with you in Christ Jesus. I thank you Lord that this blessing not only extends to me, but by faith I extend it to my family, to my spouse, to my children and my children’s children.
Father it is amazing to think of how thoroughly the Blood of Jesus has cleansed me from all sin. I am confident in Jesus who ever liveth to make intercession for me in the heavenly places where I am seated in him far above all principalities and powers. I thank you for anointing me to overcome, the world, the flesh and the devil. I thank you for continually sanctifying me spirit, soul and body. I thank you for the washing of the water of the Word. Heavenly Father, I thank you and I celebrate you for your lovingkindness is better than life.
Thank you for your living grace which has allowed me to reborn into a perfect inheritance that can never perish and never diminish. Lord, I thank you for the incorruptibility of your word that dwells in me. Thank you for a living hope that was given me by means of your Holy Spirit. This is the day that you have made unlike any other. I will rejoice and be glad in it. I will celebrate you with my whole, being. All of my heart, all of my soul and all of my strength. I thank you Lord that the law of the spirit of life which is in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Therefore, I am empowered to walk in the spirit so that I will not fulfil the desires of my flesh. Thank you for helping me to keep my mind on heavenly things and to do those things that always please you in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Practical Application of the word Impeccable.
Have you ever heard anyone say, “His or (her) speech was impeccable? This is a beautiful thought from Renee Des’ blog, “Well Being”. The article is entitled, “Words have Power”. She says, Are you impeccable with your word?
Or do your words tend to roll around your head and even out of your mouth before others have finished speaking: almost a competitor to get your thoughts before you forget and therefore barely listening to those you converse with?
“Be Impeccable with your word: speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.
