I am Beautiful, I am Choice in the Eyes of My Father
Someone or something chosen
Worthy to be chosen, distinguished, excellent
Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him in love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will
Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love.
By the grace of God we are choice. We are His choice and we have been chosen. Things that are “choice” are the best. We have been hand selected by God to be a part of his family. We are selected by God to portray his goodness through a life that is choice, not because we deserve it, but because his son laid down his life for us. It is the life of Christ, laid down for each one of us which has restored our lives and reconciled us to our Father. It is the word of reconciliation that gives us hope for the future.
There is no better feeling in the world than to know you are secure because you have been chosen by God. When you know you have been chosen, or selected, by God, our Heavenly Father you feel loved, you feel wanted, you feel special. You have a place. If you have ever suffered from feeling like you didn’t belong anywhere than you know how powerful this can be. Paul used the word, “elect” when he spoke of us being chosen. To be the elect of God means to be “hand picked” by God. Jerry Savelle says, “Once you fully understand what Paul is saying, you will find it easy to walk in your true identity. You’ll begin to think, “I’m chosen by God. Of course He will heal me. Of course, He will give me victory. I’m hand-picked by God, and I’ve been set apart for Him.”
Father God, I thank you that I am choice and I was chosen by you even before you laid the foundation of the world. You chose me because you loved me. Thank you for making me blameless in Your sight. Father, I thank you for drawing us to yourself and delivering us out from the control and dominion of darkness and translating us in the kingdom of your dear son. Father, as Jesus did while he walked the earth, may my life so express your will, your character and your ways that others are drawn into your kingdom. I decree and declare that since I am chosen the light that proceeds from my life will penetrate all darkness and the darkness will never be able to overpower it. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
